- Please give a brief decription of your professional background
- I am a social worker currently practicing in Canada. During the last 12 years, I have been involved with various community building projects both in Canada and abroad.
I had the good fortune of working with one of the many pioneering non-profit organization in India. I have seen how a “small project” makes a “big difference” to the lives of many. This “getting your hands and feet dirty”, kind of work experience continue to inspire me to remain involved with NGO movement in India.
When I heard of Farmers First, I was attracted to the idea of farmers making a living in harmony with the environment. I hope to connect this organization with Canadian technology and expertise in farming in the future.
